Storey Mae's very first trip to the beach:
Port Aransas, TX
October 4-6
Plenty of time spent out of the sun on our lovely balcony with a view
We may have actually spent more time hanging out in the room than on the beach for nap times
Lounging at the pool in mom's sun hat
Storey showing off her big new teeth
Gathering sand (to put in mouth)
Does it get any better than this
My two loves
Afternoon stroll a long the beach
Storey and Grandpa
There is something romantic, freeing, and refreshing about being near water. Just a few days near the ocean left us wanting to pack up and move down into a hut on the beach.
The last day at the coast: a celebration of a mother's life and love of the sea

Beautiful pictures.....it looked like a great weekend....I wish I still didn't feel so sad about it....it was a first I really wanted to be a parat of with Storey.
These pictures captured the true meaning of our weekend. My mother loved being on the beach and near the ocean. She is now a part of the place she loved the most. I am at peace since taking her here and knowing we fulfilled her final wishes. We felt blessed to have our family with us on this special occasion to celebrate my mother's life. Thank you, Emily.
To be a part of Storey Mae's 1st venture to the beach was a treat. I vividly recall Emily's 1st time at the beach in North Carolina. The fist time her tiny fingers dug into the sand, her floppy hat, sitting in her Buppy's arms, the intial encounter of her toes in salt water...special yesterdays. If only to have those treasured moments back for just one day.
